Dumpster Blessings

Last Saturday I increased my rolling pin stash by 200%. 

 

Neighbors of mine must have moved out in a rush as I provisioned the following out of my condo's dumpster:

2 Pyrex Glass Pie Dishes

5 Wine Glasses

1 Muffin Tray

1 Set of Chefmate Baking Pans

1 Oxo Rolling Pin

2 Sets of Measuring cups

1 Farberware Knife Block with a set of 5 Knives

3 Cuisinart Knives

1 Bread Baking Tin

1 Pur Water Filterer with Spare Filters

1 Hand-made Wooden Cutting Board by some dude named K. E. Martin

1 Plastic Cutting Board

1 Cuisinart Hand Blender

1 Baker's Secret Flour Sifter

1 Calphalon Santoku Knife

2 Ice Cream Scoopers

1 Pizza Cutter

The responses I've received from coworkers have varied from mild endorsement to open judgment. But let the judgers know that I am judging society's coercion of norms to the sanitary white-washed state they are in today!

Seriously though, this stuff was all wrapped in plastic trash bags, relatively clean/new in the first place and all very recently deposited in a decidedly rat-free (if only moderately smelly) dumpster. And, remember! If you buy from any of these links, it's almost like having taken it from the dumpster; you too can participate in a less consumerist world!
